Seeing that I am not getting any entries lately and for personal reasons, I have decided to cut the deadline short. The new one is this Saturday, on
19th of February 2011. So, if there are any more people who wanted to participate, here's your last chance to do it.

I've done a few contests until now, but the subject from this one is most definitely the one I cherish the most. So, I and *Alligatorr (
) decided to do an annual contest, with the same title.
DESCRIPTION: The idea it’s very dear and important to me, so please, treat it as it should be. I want you to create an artwork which reflects the most your feelings and thoughts for the loved, departed ones. Write or create something that you would say or show to that person, if you still had the chance to do it. It can be about regret, it can be about the gratitude for what they gave you, sorrow or simply acceptance, you know better what topic to choose. I won’t try and explain to you further, `cause the ones who lost somebody know what I’m talking about and know what’s inside their souls.
FURTHER EXPLANATIONS: I could give you examples of what I had in mind, but I don't want to influence you in any way. If it comes from the heart, then it's perfect. I know it's hard to treat a subject like this, but we can't forget these people ( that surely meant the world for all of us ) or hide them in a corner deep within our souls. They are still here, in a way or another.
RULES:=> Any kind of deviation is allowed, from any media. ( photo manipulation, poem, drawing, painting, pixel art etc.)
=> Send the thumbnail of your deviation or the link of it in a note addressed to me. The subject of the note: "We Miss You" Contest ( II ).
=> The deviation can be old or new. It's entirely your choice. I know that nowadays we are all busy, so I won't take advantage of your time to do something especially for this contest, just especially for that specific person.
=> One entry per person, please. We got a lot of entries last time, so I can't accept more than that.
Deadline: The 19th of February 2011 included.
JUDGES: I and *Alligatorr . I won't say a specific date when we'll pick the winners, but it surely won't be more than a week after the deadline has ended. No worries!
PRIZES: => 1st place: 820 points
=> 2nd place: 600 points
=> 3rd place: 430 points
The other kind contributor to the list of prizes is our dear friend, =
gppr.
She donated 200 points that I shared between the 1st place, the 2nd place and the 3d place.
These are the prizes that we can offer. If anybody else wants to help and to provide some more prizes, they are more than welcome. The prize list will be updated in this Journal, if it is needed.
