That hurtful TuesdayI remember once my father was helping me with my English or math homework, it was when I was in the fourth grade… 11 maybe 12 years old I don’t really know.
We were always required to write the date back in junior high, it was a stupid tradition, now that I think about It, but no one ever saw the harm in it and hence it was never questioned.
If memory serves me well it was in my room that my dad had us all sitting and doing our homework, all three of us. Before I could start my work I had to write the date… hah…it was a cursed Tuesday that day, and unfortunately I wasn’t quiet sure how you spelt Tuesday.
My dad was watching or rather inspecting our actions like a vulture; almost it seemed waiting for once of us to slip. I swear I did my best to improvise, I tried my best to not spell that word-because I knew it didn’t matter how good my work was, if my dad caught a spelling mistake it would lead to an exasperated situation.
